Mount Pocono United Methodist Church was founded in 1886. It has survived three fires. Amid the ruins, its members declared that while the building had been destroyed, the church had remained- and so it stands to this day.
Over the past decade the population of the mountain area has grown and changed. Dedicated members have welcomed and nourished newcomers with love, Christian concern and warm fellowship.
In the same spirit of good will, the congregation of Mount Pocono United Methodist Church offers services and programs that make it possible for people of all ages to experience a community that exemplifies God’s work in action.
